YPF

Last weekend Purlesence had their one year anniversary sale and I left with this big skein 'o yarn:

Mountain Colors Weaver's Wool
100% Worsted Wool
1450 yards

$66 on sale at FORTY % off!
That's a sweater's worth of hand dyed yarn for $39.60!

I'm thinking of making the Mr. Greenjeans sweater that I've been admiring over at Jo's blog.

In case you're wondering why a girl in the 'burbs has a couple of rusted milk cans in her back yard, they were given to me by an old colleague of my Dad's. I don't know what to do with them but I like them so they just sit out back and rust. And serve as yarn pedestals.

A hank of 1450 yards of worsted? For $40? NICE! I hate weaving in ends, so that is like hitting the lotto! Minus the millions of bucks of course.

It'll make a fab Greenjeans!

What a great deal. And the yarn is so pretty too - it would have been worth the full price. A bargain is so much more fun though.
