WIP Wednesday
Cpurl's Mom (while waiting for a table at a Japanese restaurant): What are you working on?
Cpurl: It's a sleeve--see? (cpurl puts it on her wrist)
Cpurl's Mom: "Won't that make you look bulky?"
The truth hurts.
So I've got 1 body, 1 sleeve and 1 cuff on my Bulky cardigan:

A couple of weeks ago I had a scare with Cary (blood in the litter box) so we went off to the Emergency Room. Cats, like kids, get sick on weekends when their regular doctor's office is closed. His Vet's office is feline only so he's not used to dogs and, to make matters worse we had to wait for almost an hour. When we finally got shown to a exam room he tried to hide in the corner:
Is that the saddest thing you've ever seen?
Is that the saddest thing you've ever seen?
But he's okay! And I'm a few hundred $$ poorer..

That is just the saddest picture! So glad kitty is all better though!!
The FABULOUS cardigan is looking great (bulky smulky....who says??)!
Oh what a sad picture - he's even surrounded by pictures of dogs!! I'm so glad he's ok, pets are such a worry when they're ill aren't they?
I think the "bulky" cardi is looking great so far.
BTW your comment on my blog really made me laugh ;)
Oh, that is the saddest picture! I hope he's all better soon.
Aw, poor kitty!! That is sad. I am glad he's ok! I can feel your pain on the vet bills (on the weekend too).
Hee hee! Cary looks like "one of these things is not like the other!" Glad he's OK!
That picture is sad but adorable at the same time. It looks as if the thought "you can't see me if I can get just as close to the corner as possible" is running through his mind.
So good to hear that he is doing better.
Poor Cary! I'm glad he's okay. He looks so sad huddled against that puppy wall paper.
The cardigan is looking great!
oh, kitty in the corner. That is the saddest picture ever.
Hey, at least your mom didn't say YOU were bulky. She said the sleeve would make you LOOK bulky. I'm all about the subtext. ;)
Cary looks so sad and scared! But thankfully, he's all better now!
I could wear one of those "through the eye of a needle" shawls and make it appear bulky.
The pic of Cary at the vet is sad-- but how awesome is that other photo of him? Such a handsome devil.
As long as his med bills don't come out of my Christmas present.
So sso glad Cary's OK. What a cutie. Are you going to abandon the cardi or press on...it may look divine!
you can't see me here. I'm not here. la la la la!
Poor dude. Bet it was hard not to laugh and feel evil at the same time.
i love the colours of the sweater, who cares what it looks like when it's 20 below. You'll be warm and stylin'!
Ha! Leave it to a mother!
What was wrong with kitty?? :o( You don't have pet insurance?
Oh No! Poor little kitty! I hope he's doing better.
Great colors on the new cardi:) Wow you on a real sweater kick... Or do you knit mostly sweaters? I'm kinda new to your blog so I may be speaking out of turn:)
Boy do I know that feeling. But you should feel good knowing you're a good kitty mom. =)
Hope Cary is getting better!!!
I love the way your cardi is knitting up! Please finish! :)
