Fun and Pink at the Maker Faire
We became known as the "pink ladies" as in (overheard in a cell phone conversation), "Honey? Yeah, I'm standing in line behind the Pink Ladies." There were people dressed like this:
Stephanie, as you probably know, was hilarious in her presentation ...
...and gracious and accommodating during the book signing.
Kristin aka Leftcoastknits, ME, Stephanie, Alysse aka Knitted Daughter, Jo aka Josie and Manda aka Knitting Psycho (missing but not forgotten is Betts aka Sunbny)
We ran into the most amazing people at the Faire!
Carrie of We Do Not Have a Knittng Problem and I saying "Hi ZKnitter!"
Look! It's Nicole of Stash and Burn & Manda taste testing chocolate
(see her "ovens" behind the stall?)
Alysse rockin' the 3-Day bandanna
This was my first time to the Maker Faire and we had a great time. It's a fabulous place for kids and geeks alike.
Better get to bed...we have a 7 mile walk tomorrow!

Sounds like you all had a great day, and love the photos! Hope it sparks more fundraising.

Waving Hi back to you guys! What a great fair! WTG Pink Ladies! Wishing you luck on your walk today! hugs!
What's up with the Harlot wearing a sweater in CA? I mean A/C OK, but she's the ONLY ONE wearing a sweater. Maybe global warming is real and Canada is the next Jamaica???
What a fun weekend!
What a fun event!
I think you all need to get together, watch Grease 2, and have pink satin jackets made. No, seriously.
Awesome!! Now you got me over here adding new blogs to my feed!! ;op
Fab logo, but even more wonderful was "team pink" accomplishments! :oD
And a good time was had by all! Looks like a lot of fun, wish I'd gone. Along with that, imagine how much awaremess you raised, and some of those folks will donate, even if the donations don't come thru your team. Wonderful! Enjoy your 7 mile. I bet by the time the real deal rolls around you'll be able to walk the day's distance, walk back to the start, then walk it again. Everybody pay triple, please!
P.S.: I left you a surprise on my blog, hope you enjoy it.
Looks like it was a great time! I hope your walk went well!
Yay!!! Still wanna walk on board SeaSocks?
kristin did an awesome job on that logo.
I got excited when I saw the donuts and then realized they were knitted. Oh well, no cals.
