Hat Trick Monday

Yesterday I made the One Day Beret out of the yarn that Disco gave me. Since my Le Slouch was a bit of Le Droop, I went a little overboard and created Le Ginormous--but it's very comfy and I can hide a bunch of snacks in there.

Now my head will be nice and warm in Alaska.

Pattern: One Day Beret
Yarn: Zitron Unkiat, 100% Merino Schruwolle
Needles: US 10
Started: March 30 2008
Finished:March 30 2008
Mods: This "recipe" is tops down so it works for any size yarn.

I also finished a 2nd baby cap for the twin set and with a week to spare before the shower.

Lovely hat, thank you for the link, it might be a suitable knit for my dodgy handspun!

Kitty snacks? It looks great on you! Between you and Turtlegirl I've got some serious tam envy.

And why is it when I read "ports of call" I snicker? It sounds so dirty to me!

Oooh, that yarn knitted up nice. I like the snack hat a lot.

And the hats turned out so cute with the opposite coloured stripes. Did you plan it like that, or were the knitting gods just smiling on you :-)

I love that beret aka snack hat, if I could wear a hat that would be exactly the kind I would want. Snacks included of course.

Cute hat! You have good hat hair -- it doesn't look dorky when you wear hats.

Snacks? You're going on the Sea Socks Cruise - swipe and hide some in there! ;)

Okay, that would've been funnier if I'd actually used the word "yarn". Shoulda finished my coffee first...

Everyone should have a hat that can hide snacks - no need to take up valuable purse space.

I really need to make one of those hats. Yours looks really nice on you.

The twin set is so cute!

I'm so jealous of sea socks, that is going to be so much fun, I took an Alaska cruise back in 98 and LOVED it!

I can't believe I had to come all the way back to march to find the last time I left a comment :( I'm way, way behind!
