WIP Wednesday

Boy, the fun & hi jinx never stop chez cpurl:
First I knit a Calorimetry out of some Filatura di Crosa 127 Print I bought on sale:
Then I put it on my cat:

Who was not amused.

"Get this thing off of me or I'll pee on your bed"

I finally re attached the sleeves on the Bulky Sweater and am beginning the raglan decreases. I also managed to attach a cat to the bottom. Cats on a sweater are quite the rage this year.

"Does this sweater make me look fat?"

Last week at KTPT, all the Karabella yarns & patterns went on clearance sale at 40% off so I caved and bought some soft, fluffy Karabella Boise (50% super fine merino, 50% cashmere). I'm knitting the Boise Lace Wrap shawl as a gift for my Mother:

Did you know that Zknitter's needle cases are comfy enough for a kitty's sweet head?

"Maybe someday I'll have mad sewing skillz like Zknitter"

So, did you graft that cat onto the bottom with kitchener, or did you seam her together?

Ooo, pretty shawl!

I like to leave some live stitches and three needle bind off the cat to my knitting.

I love your Calorimetry! Did you do the 120 sts on smaller needles? I like the way it doubles as a cat-saddle. I might have to use that idea!

ROTFL!! Gurl you are a mess!

I am going to have to finally knit up this Calorimetry.

And the lace is working up really nice, especially for 40% off!!!

Can't wait to see you in your sweater!

I prefer to mattress stitch the cat to my sweaters. If they're going to threated my bed with piss, I cannot deny the irony of the mattress stitch.

Love the way your Calorimetry striped! It looks really cool!

Best use of cats in a post I've ever seen!!! However, I like to attach my cat to my scarf rather than my sweater. He keeps my neck nice and toasty warm!!

Calorimetry makes a purrrfect kitty sweater.

Actually, that looks more like, "If you don't take that thing off of me, I'll pee on that sweater you're knitting!"

What a sweet-tempered kitty. Not because of the sweater pee threat, but because your face is still attached! : )
If you ever come this way, I dare you to put anything on Morgana. She is quite feisty and has a gift when it comes to digging her little claws into a nerve. Ouch!

When I first read that you made the Calorimetry I was thinking oooh, this should look pretty. Then I busted out laughing as I saw your cat wearing it!
You have got to make a calendar with all the funny things your cat does or should I say what you do to him.LOL
