Weekend Update
Cpurl: "Uhhhhhhhh....umm..umm....socks are portable"
What kind of answer is that? But here's proof that I sometimes knit other little things:
A baby gift for a colleague at work. 1 ball of Aurora 8 + 1 ball of Lorna's Laces Angel. The hat is the Umbilical Cord hat from Stitch N Bitch and the booties are from "50 Baby Booties to Knit"
On Sunday I met up with *LeftCoastKnitter for an antique fair downtown:
I didn't buy much but I did get this kitchsy vintage Enid Collins knock off:
And some vintage knitting needles & English bell needle gauge: 
And, of course, we ended up at our LYS where our socks are hanging in the window. The owner is having a sock contest and both LCK and I have entered our socks
Sorry for the crappy photo--sunlight and all. LCK's are the perfectly shaped Roza's socks with the pink bow. And mine are next to hers on the right. I hope there are some more entries....
Finally Cary would like to thank his very thoughtful Auntie K for the super fabulous gift basket of kitty treats she sent in honor of his birthday! I really tried to get a good photo but Cary was too interested in the cat treats under the cellophane to sit still.
"Hurry up will ya? There are treats in here!"Hooray for 3-day weekends!!

OK, that bag is just gorgeous.
The baby set is way cute, though I have to admit I'm having trouble stopping the sock knitting too. Socks really are portable. : )
