Plain Vanilla Yarn PrØn
Simple YP this week: One cone of Zephyr lace weight 2/18.
5,040 yards of 50% wool, 50% tussah silk.
I don't even really know what tussah silk* is but it sounds fancy so I used it.
I'm saving it to make a shawl someday after I improve my lace knitting skills.
*Tussah silk is produced by wild silk moths instead of the cultivated moths used for the white, smooth silks.

Vanilla and boring? No darn way! Sweet and Innocent to look at, pure pron to touch, that Zephyr!
(previous comment deleted for asking an impertinent question that had already been answered...:-)
I've heard great raves about this yarn. From what I hear it is not at all boring, even in a vanilla color.
Oh! This ring is getting good!!!! Awesome shots. I particularly like that second one with the hole. Wow.
Pretty pretty!
And think of all the dyeing you could do if you wanted!
mmmm, lovely. Not boring at all.
Mmmm... delicious. I've got a huge cone of the Zephyr in Basil - can't wait to see what you use yours for! Happy YPF!
It's bee-yoo-tee-ful. Excellent job on the photography.

Vanilla's the best :)
Great pictures. And I have to agree that sometimes nothing beats good 'ole vanilla!
Ooh, I love that 2nd shot. White/vanilla is tough to photograph. Thanks!
I like it!!! You know without vanilla we wouldn't have chocolate--I mean what would be to stop us from calling chocolate vanilla if vanilla didn't exist? I confuse myself.
Wow! That is a heckofa cone!!!
Yay for Vanilla! Yummy! :)
That's very pretty yarn. Vanilla, undyed, but so pretty, and so much of it, too!
Nice shot.
